“I have had dreams and I have had nightmares. I overcame my nightmares because of my dreams.” – Jonas Salk
I think, no matter how many big problems we have, there is only one truly worthy of that name: Not having dreams.
Not having dreams means having no hope and that is hell. Dante, when he wrote the Divine Comedy, speaking of hell, he describes its doors as having a sign that says: “You who enter here, leave all hope out there.”
This hope that keeps you away from hell, only has one origin. In dreams.
Even without plans, without a visible way of these dreams coming true, hope warms the soul and helps to have a positive attitude, which is the first step to finding the way.
Without dreams, any nightmare turns into hell. Regain your ability to dream. If you don’t know how, ask for help.
